OAU School Bus Crash: Victim, A Law Student, Laid to Rest – See Photos
Again, Death has “robbed” Us of A Gem!
It was in January this year, we mourned a part 3 student of English Department of Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, Ile-Ife, Pius Agidigbi. Now, we just lost another gem, God-fearing and a very active female alter server, Miss Mary Motunrayo Ibitolu, a part 2 student of Law at OAU.

Mary was on Wednesday, 6th May, 2015 at about 10:30am knocked down by a reckless school bus driver at Oke-Fia in Osogbo while on her way to the bank to withdraw some cash.
I now ask, why is death heartless and always feast on the “good ones”? Why?
She just visited her parents in Osogbo last week in order to prepare for a Catholic Law Students Association Of Nigeria (CALSAN) conference coming up in Abia.
Your death is shocking and painful. I wept though but when I attend your funeral mass this evening at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oke-Fia and found myself among those that brought your remains to the church for the paschal sacrament, you preached to me telling me to weep for my “iniquities” rather than weeping for you.
You lived a glorious, committed, obedient and God-fearing life during your short stay on earth. No wonder the church was filled to its capacity during your requiem mass.
The OAU community will miss you, the Nigeria Federation of Catholic Students (NFCS) will greatly miss you, IFE LAW will miss you, Alter Servers Association will miss you, the Legion of Mary will miss you, the Catholic Charistmatic Renewal of Nigeria (CCRN) will miss you, CALSAN will miss you, Equity Chambers will miss you, your alma Mater, OSSCO will miss you among other numerous associations and groups you actively belonged.
Our consolation is that you are sleeping in the Lord and you will be raised on the last day. May God console your parents, siblings and colleagues that you left behind. R.I.P. A Promising Soul! You will surely be Missed! I hope I would wake and discovered it was all a dream.
